So today a group of us volunteers went to a local library and played with the kids who hang out there after school. It was organized by the woman who usually plays with them, and it was SUCH a good time! We played a lot of intrudctory games with names, and stuff like musical chairs. A group of us are going to go twice a week for the rest of the time we are here.
Not only was it fun, but also good Spanish practice!
On another note, the only really down side to living in Peru right now are the bugs. They not only bite all the time, but theirs bites leave the biggest, most itchy bumps. It is pretty painful and annoying. All the anti itch cream in the world wouldn´t help against these suckers. Right now, both of my legs are covered because I made the mistake of wearing leggings yesterday, exposing my ankles, and forgot bug spray. I was attacked! Oh well, lesson learned. Always always always carry bug spray or wear pants!
