One week before I set off for Peru and I have decided to start a blog at my Mom's insistence. She says it would be much better than attempting to e-mail everyone separately. To this, I couldn't argue. However, I do plan on e-mailing as much as possible because it is more personal.
I am packing my two big bags slowly. I think the waiting to leave is the worst. I'd say my biggest fear right now is of my blubbery, potentially incoherent Spanish that I am hoping will improve rapidly. But, overall, I am excited and anxious to get started! I cannot wait to be an official Peace Corps volunteer!
